SWRA 2026 – South West Rivers Association – representing and supporting river fishery associations of the South West of England in the stewardship & conservation of their rivers

The SWRA is a representative body for out member river associations, which comprise riparian, fishery owners & managers, anglers & environmentalists, who often work alongside conservation experts & many organisations to acheive the shared goal of improving the wellbeing of our rivers and river life.

A main aim of ours is to see Salmon & Seatrout stocks within our rivers return to their former glory. Our rivers are subject to many pressures, including abstraction, pollution & predation to name a few. By enabling individual rivers to work together to speak with one voice, SWRA contimues to influence the environmental agenda in key areas.
